Taler Kheer/Khir/ Payesh/Phirne/ Palm fruit Pudding is a very common and popular Bengali sweet made from fresh palm juice. This dish prepared with lots of love and care in every Bengali home. Taler Kheer is one of the famous Bengali homemade sweets. In English it is known as Palmyra palm or Toddy palm.

Ingredient :-
* ½ of a whole palm pulp.
* 1pound sweetened condensed milk/1.5 liter
fresh milk.
* 150 gms. rice flour.
* 1/2Kg sugar cane jaggary/gur/sugar.
* 1 cassia leaf, 4 cardamom, 4 cloves, cinnamon
* 700ml water.
** If you use fresh milk no need of water.
** If you use sweetened condensed milk
use reduced amount jaggary/gur/ sugar.
** I have used 100 gms. Posset (chana) from freshly curdled milk
