I Toured Ryan Hall's $500,000 Weather House

I spent the day with Ryan Hall, Y'all to see what all it takes to produce a show with close to 1 million subscribers. Ryan has a background in YouTube and in weather so he wanted to find a way to marry the two together. It wasn't easy to get his channel to grow this fast but he knew he was on to something. He also shares some tips and tricks to help you out on you journey as a Creator :) Ryan makes the weather interesting and is a lot more informative than just watching your local news station. He has people out in the field and meteorologists tapping in remotely all of the United States. Yes he is a YouTuber but treats it like a business. He has roughly 20 employees, some contracting and some on payroll. When I was there, they were shipping out over 200 packages all over the nation. Pretty wild considering where we live in eastern Kentucky. If you want to start a channel, the best thing to do is find a gap, stay consistent and produce content that people need or want.

Stopped watching weather channel YEARS ago and started watching the independent meteorologists like Ryan. His channel absolutely saves lives and gives back to those who need the help.

I've been a tornado nerd for ages, and I have a good understanding of what goes on to form them as well as what they do. When I first saw Ryan it didn't take long to see that he fully understood severe weather but more importantly could communicate it well. He can talk the language and then explain it in terms the average person can understand. I subbed right away. I've watched him rocket to success. He deserves it.

Thank you everyone for taking the time to watch this video! Ryan is an unbelievable human being. He has a unique story and it is awesome what he’s been able to accomplish from our hometown in Pikeville. He found a path in entrepreneurship by leveraging the digital economy. He’s an inspiration to young kids that want to stay here but can’t see the opportunity. He and his team add tremendous value to our culture and economy.

If you haven’t hit that subscribe button yet on my channel, head over and do that! I’m getting close to my goal of 1000 subs!

Ryan Hall and Andy Hill helped save one of my neighbors as during a tornado outbreak that happened in Mississippi Dec of ‘22, I told them to watch him. We had an EF1 rip through our town and tore off part of their roof along with a tree going through their kitchen. Our sirens were broken so had they not been watching, it would have been horrible for them.
We also have had good coverage for hurricanes because of Ryan and his team.

HUGE Ryan Hall fan. We live in SEARCY, AR and I turned SEVERAL friends on to his channel during last week’s tornado outbreak (hit Little Rock and Wynne). Keep up the great work (and the lack of profanity is SO refreshing!)!

I wonder if Ryan H fully comprehends the impact he is making on how consumers expect weather to be reported. 🌪️ 💙

The common place for tornadoes is moving towards my area. Without Ryan on YouTube keeping us updated I don’t know what i would do when I’m worried. He always says “be prepared not scared.” Thank you Ryan!

Thanks for the behind-the-scenes look at Ryan Hall. I love the way he presents the weather in a calm, truthful way and his willingness to stick with it for hours when weather is severe. He indulges all us "weather nerds" and gives us a place to hang out when weather turns bad. The biggest and best difference between Ryan Hall and all the other weather personalities is the way he gives back to those in need via the Y'all Squad. Ryan Hall is just the best weather guy out there.

I found Ryan's channel because of a friend who has been a longtime fan. So glad I did. We bought our new weather station from his store and now when there's bad weather, I go to his channel first. We were weather nerds for decades and used to have a Davis weather station uploading to Wunderground, before The Weather Channel bought it and gutted our community. PLEASE, Ryan, don't sell out to big media like Wunderground did. We love your channel just the way you are and hope it stays that way!

Since Mayfield, Ryan has become a first-name-basis household name in our extended family and with some friends and a neighbor. Glad to see him succeed.

I can’t say enough good things about what Ryan and his crew do for the public. Been watching since he was trying to get 10, 000 subscribers.
He deserves all this success and more!

Great studio, you are building a business that gives jobs to others, keeps people safe, saves lives and I also love that your merchandise + your own contributions help those in need after storms. You brought generators, food, clothes, water to so many people and you gave money to people when they were literally standing in the rubble of their houses.

Ryan, when you gave Mayfield 22 minutes notice before the storm, I became a lifelong fan. You guys are the best.
