The effects of monsters destroyed by these attacks cannot activate and are negated.

The best part of this is that Yami didn't even need to use Diffusion Wave Motion, Dark Paladin had the win with just one attack, but Yami decided to just flex on Kaiba. Probably wanted some sweet revenge for how his little "I'm gonna kill myself unless you let me win" Bullshit hurt Yugi in Duelist Kingdom.

To this day and forever my favourite moment in any franchise.
The build-up, the hype, the setting, this was the duel everyone was waiting for back in the day.
And Dark Paladin will always be the most badass looking monster to me.
I wish it would get a proper retrain (Dragoon isn't in my opinion) or at least a secret rare reprint of the circle artwork with the new foiling.

You know, "Dark Paladin" had enough ATK to wipe out Kaiba's Life Points by destroying just one "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".

It’s a shame that we never got to see more of Dark Paladin in the anime because out of all of Yugi’s fusion monsters that have a appeared in the anime I would have to say that Dark Paladin is his strongest and his best.

This is literally the definition of over kill from Yugi showing how Kaiba never would have been able to stop this level of an attack from Yugi.

Blue eyes at 3000 attack points (separately)
Dark Paladin at 4900 attack points.

That’s a difference of 1900. Enough to finish Kaiba with one attack. But what I love is Yugi goes all the way to deal a total of 1900 X 3 giving a grand total of 5700 of damage coming at Kaiba and destroying all 3 of his blue eyes at once…just beautifully done

This strategy would also work w. United We Stand & Dark Magician.(🆚 Blue-Eyes White 🐲 but I think Kaiba would have seen his next turn.)

Yugi has uses both if his monsters of Dark Paladin and Black Skull Dragon and beat all of Kaiba's three Blue Eyes White Dragons, Kaiba is down and Yugi goes down to the pin and it's all over for the Mighty Dexteras.
