How to play Uno House Rules

RULES:
The rules are the same as regular uno except for these changes. House rule cards are indicated by a speech bubble in the corner. They play like their normal color or number. The first time a house rule card is played, the player who played it gets to create any new rule that all cards with that house rule number on it must followed whenever they are played, including on the turn it was created. It is recommended, but not required, that all house rules force all players to do an action, like clap, stand up, raise their hands, that sort of thing. Then the last player to perform that action must draw 1 card. However you are allowed to go crazy and remove this limitation and let the house rules do anything. If you do, only 1 house rule card may trigger on a turn, so if a house rule causes multiple house rule cards to be played, then the subsequent house rules are ignored. After following the house rule, you then end your turn like normal.

A wild game changer, is a wild card that can be played on any other card. Once played, you get to pick any house rule card number that has a rule and change it to a new rule. If no house rules have been created yet, then you do not create one. Your turn ends with you picking the color that resumes play.

When playing for points, house rule cards are worth their face value and wild game changers are worth 50.

"if there are no house rules yet, Game Changers don't make them"
i think that rule just goes against the nature of the card

Hi there Triple S Games, I’m wondering if you’d ever cover Connect 4x4 one day, it’s a four player version of the original Connect 4. It has some interesting mechanics you’d might be interested in hopefully.

0:03 The rules may be the same as regular Uno, but your new studio looks like the Jeopardy! studios dimming the lights and the set turning red for Final Jeopardy!

I was gonna do “area demolition sequence”. It makes it so that every player discards all of their current cards and adds 4 cards to them. These cards need to have at least 1 of every color or else get that card’s face value amount of cards. If you get a wild, that does not count. Then the person who plays the card’s turn gets skipped for 2 turns, then normal play resumes.

So my style of house rules is pretty simple.
Play a house rule card, and you get to choose another player to play out of turn. Play then proceeds to the player after the house rule card player and game continues like normal.
If you play a wild game changer, you get an extra turn. Since you get an extra turn, you do not need to call out a color. Instead, after playing the game changer, you may play any card of your choice in your hand.
