this is a thing EVERYONE should already know about. One massive downside about x86 is that its a very old version of the game that doesnt get updated. So many addons like VJ Base will not function completely as they should (some features are disabled like the majority of the semi intelligent AI). Feel like that was a disclaimer that should be in the video! Anyone who has any questions may use my comment as a way to ask. I'll try to answer everyone!

Idk what do but when I install these realism modpacks my perfomance drops signifcantly. If anything I feel like its much more worse than it was when I did gmod realism content back in 2021. Im getting sometimes less than 30 fps on simple maps I lag when I spawn enimies and get horrible microlag when shooting people and all that its just awful. It lags to bad to the point it my inputs get stuck for a few seconds depending on the map. I have a gtx 1070ti and a ryzen 1600. Is my software not enough or am I just really unoptimized

BEWARE. When you have so much mods, if you have an somewhat older system it cant load, i used the 86x64x version of gmod but i couldnt play because i have 1000 mods, now i use the regular version and it loads like normal, although i get 30 fps 😅

i tried it but its always the same for me, i noticed one thinga bout my gmod, when i look up it goes so smoothly, but when i start to look forwards at the map, i lag like if i was playing on windows xp

Whenever I use x86 it disables my mic input so now I can't speak to anyone. I tried every fix possible and did more research but nothing will help. It used to work a while ago but not anymore. Now I am resorting to pre-release version even though I may not get the maximum performance from it.

I just have only crashes, because i have potato. And i cannot play gmod normally, cuz i have 20-30 fps maximum.

here are some more command to boost fps
mat_picmip 1
r_lod 3
mat_filterlightmaps 0 [pretty much no smooth lighting]
mat_filter textures 0 [high fps boost but the game will look bad]
r_3dsky 0 or 1 [disables skybox]
r_ farz 6000 [render distance dont recommend setting it lower than 3000]
mat_fullbright 1 [high fps boost gives u fullbright]
u can also download performant render from the steam workshop which stops stuff from being rendered that u cant see
u can also got to turn on game mode in settings than going to graphics then browse than program files 86x steam steam apps common then click on ur gmod folder to open it than click hl2.exe than add than go back to graphics and set it as high performance u can do this with other games browsers Minecraft launchers and steam itself open jdk platform binary which is minecrafts java
which will make it run faster if set to high performance
