Console commanads:
cl_showfps 1
gmod_mcore_test 1 this enables multiple cores doing the work if you've got AMD processors
And enable support in betas option for 64 bit system. :)

I have a shitty laptop and i used to be able to play Gmod np at all, but the laptop got worn out over the course of 3 years and i couldn't play it anymore because in darkrp i'd get shitty fps on downtown and on any map. i got a 1080ti and it kinda worked for me, when im with large gatherings of people its like 60 - 50fps, but that is 30 fps more than i had :)
