This is great information— Exactly watch I’m having so much trouble with. I especially hate emails being able to send me a text with 20 numbers attached that I have to try and block each one. I wish this was illegal. I also wish you guys would slow down while giving explanations. You’re running through it so fast that it is hard for me to follow and get the information straight. I have to keep stopping and going over and over it. We are not all that quick with the technology. Thanks for this great video!

Even if you block their number they have multiple different ones so they keep spamming you no matter what sadly there’s no way to stop these people

I get calls from my doctor’s offices with different numbers. I don’t want to unknowingly block these numbers. Also people I don’t have in my contacts sometimes call me because of my involvement in a community support group. I have to answer unknown numbers. If it is spam I block it. This happens several times a day! The government has got to do something to stop this! Thanks for your video. I will use some of your suggestions.

As excellent as this appears, what happens when my dentist or doctor, for example, sends me a text message to remind me of an appointment? Their welcome reminders appear to originate from a ‘computerised number’ (my terminology) and not their own office number which I have in my contacts. Would not implementing your blocking system also block these handy text message reminders?

How do we block or report texts without opening the text? I feel like opening the text will make it worse. Similar to opening an email. I always just delete the texts without opening. Please advise.

I wish it were as easy to block numbers from the Messages app as it is from the list of recent calls. So many more taps required in Messages.

I have At&t so I don't have "call blocking & Identification" listed. Which spam blocker apps do you suggest I download, True Caller, At&t Call Protect or Robo Killer? Is one enough or should I download all 3?... Overkill? Thanks!

I still get people that are not in my contacts they’re somehow getting pass that filter. I have that feature turned on and I still get stupid group text messaging and total spam messages. It’s annoying

A problem with some spam text messages now days is they are a zero response hack ware device. Merely opening the message to get the number to block or report will immediately install a hijack. Apple needs to include a zero interaction delete and block function.
