I just finished applying this product. And I was lucky that I got as far as I did before the clear
Finish harden up and got hot. Now I’m hoping it’ll cure just fine. I seen reviews sayin the clear was still sticky after 24 hrs.

I tried the Epoxy Shield Clear coat and within less than 45 minutes the liquid turned solid on before I could finish my garage floor. I followed the all the instruction and was only able to complete 1/4 of my garage floor. I called Rust-Oleum and filed a complaint a few days ago and haven't heard back. It was a waste of $175 plus materials. I had to go out and buy another box for $175 to complete the the installation. Did the same thing neat the same time the next morning but this time the liquid stayed liquid for me to put it down. I was able to complete in 30 minutes. The 1st box went solid on me in 45 minutes. Not sure what caused the problem, same process, same temperature, same time.

Hey, i just put epoxy on my garage floor and noticed i should have out more flakes in areas, now its dry is it ok to put on a clear top coat and add more flakes so they stick??

What about putting stuff in storage. I applied clear coat on top of Rustoleum epoxy in my basement. Do I have to wait a full 3 days to start standing up shelves to stack storage items on?

I applied Rust Oleum Epoxy shield to my basement floor yesterday. It looks great, but when wiping it with my hand I can feel the chips in many areas. I think I need the Epoxy Clear Coat now. Can I apply it tonight, or do I have to wait several days?

Hi, please help. I applied the clear finish floor coating two days ago on top of gray gloss garage floor coating. Can I still apply the second coat of clear garage floor coating topcoat now, or do need to sand the first clear topcoat down first? I just did my epoxyshield garage four days ago. Please help

Hey Rust-Oleum, I did my garage floor with epoxy-shield (grey) and paint chips, but in the light I can see imperfections. Therefore, will this epoxy clear coat hide some or all of the imperfections?

Do I need to seal the bare concrete first? Before applying expo you shield? This is for my fresh pour basement slab - 2 month old floor or can I skip it?
