Maserati MC12 GT1 Great V12 Sound on Track!!

I was really hoping to record one day a Maserati MC12 GT1 at Monza Circuit. And finally it happened! Enjoy this brief video I made a few days ago

MC12 GT1 ist definetly one of may favorites, such a beautiful car !
Maserati then: racing in GT1 with that beauty
Maserati now: no racing, but producing a horrible SUV

btw, please bring back the GT1 reglement :)

I've never heard a V12 have that kind of V8-like rumble before. It sounds like it's growling as it speeds up. A much different turn from ghe F1 GTR and Murcielago R-GT. But still, just like the R-GT, this thing still roars even at its low RPM.

The 458 GTE also has that quality, only gets up 6, 250rpm, yet sounds like it could have higher rev.

i love all endurance racers that have an elongated body, especially those from the legendary GT1 class. However, the sounds went down over the years, quieter for some reason. For example the older screaming F1 GTR, Murcielago R-GT, Jaguar XJR-14, Mazda787b . Some of them sound so nasty, dirty filthy good!

Apart from this car being really beautifull... It's the sound of this car that I love most. I will never go electric for this reason alone. It is music to my ears.

Yes. It IS a V12 Engine in there.
It's just not a Formula 1 V12 Engine.

why are they shifting so early? the MC12 F140 V12 can rev up to 7700rpm and it sounds like the driver is shifting at only 6000
