Hey Sir, have a question for you. The first example you used - we only made our assumption the opposite for the last part only of the given statement: we assumed that n is odd if n^2 is even. Why didn't we do the inverse of the first part i.e: We assume n^2 is odd if n is even?

in example 1, all we are showing is if n is odd then n^2 is also odd
how are we disproving or proving the actual statement of when n is even n^2 is even
wouldn't it have made sense if n was assumed to be odd and them n^2 was proven to be even or vice versa?

It isn't in this video, but in this chapter, I don't understand example 4, which asks to prove that there are infinitely many prime numbers. I just don't get why we think of doing N=p1xp2x...x pn + 1. I can't make sense of that haha. Thank you so much for your videos!
