Here are the ingredients you will need:
1/4 cup roasted Bengal gram (chana dal)
10-12 Kashmiri dried red chilies
10 cloves garlic, chopped
Salt to taste
Water as needed
Soak the red chilies in hot water for 10 minutes.
Drain the red chilies and add them to a blender along with the roasted Bengal gram, garlic, and salt.
Grind to a coarse paste.
Add water as needed to adjust the consistency of the chutney.
