Ok so that green haired girl actually has a back story in the Genshin impact comics she has an insanely dark back story and is really sad in the comics but now you can see she’s doing better highly recommend reading it!

Didn’t expect them to be so mad about the death of their colleague. this is why I think they are the best villain in Genshin right now. they aren’t just a bunch of merciless psycho, they are human, they have emotions like any of us.

- Pulcinella want the all work in the entire nation to halt for half a day. this can affect their whole nation severely. this goes to show that he has great respect toward Signora.
- Childe doesn’t like Signora but even he himself come to the funeral and even stop his colleagues from fighting in order to honor the funeral silent.
- Arlecchino was very mad toward Pantalone’s nonchalant attitude. this proves that she really does care about Signora.
- Pierro was the one who are extremely mad. you can clearly see the anger in his voice. “Checkmate is not where the game ends” can be interpreted as “now that you killed one of our comrade, we’re not gonna play within the rules anymore. now we’re gonna play more dirty and ruthlessly”

It's pretty significant that Dottore seems to be playing a role in Sumeru (I'm pretty sure that's what's happening at the end), seeing as he plays a VERY big role in the comics along with Collei. So seeing all of this come back together is really cool.

Chess is a common game used to portray the maneuverings of two factions. It's been used as a reference in stories for decades.

Well, the chess part has always been the core of Genshin's storytelling. Teyvat is essentially just a chess game for Celestia, controlling their Archons and moving mythical creatures to fight and die for its own entertainment.

The main reason why Venti laughed about losing his Gnosis, Raiden Shogun literally just gave it to Yae Miko and had been governing Inazuma without it after her sister died, and Zhongli who intentionally tested his own people to see if having a Gnosis was necessary to defend his own land just so he could cut ties with Celestia by giving the Gnosis away to the group that plans to wage war with the gods.

Well, TLDR, the Gnosis is bascially a chess piece. Venti, Zhongli and Raiden Shogun: the bishop (Raiden), rook (Zhongli), and the Queen (venti).

Apparently, this implies that the Fatui and the Tsaritsa are playing a game of chess against Celestia. And if the Fatui wins, they get to challenge the authority of Celestia, whoever is in charge of it. This makes a lot more sense if you look back at the beginning of the game with the unknown god saying "arrogation of mankind", as if they're being cornered by humanity even before the war with Khraenri'ah where our sibling took part in.

i think this kind of organization is a common trope in anime and game, shichibukai in one piece, akatsuki in naruto, espada in bleach, the turks in final fantasy vii etc, not only organization xiii lol
