I remember running a Skar Audio amplifier to .5 ohm back in November and it kept chipping and when i changed it to 2 ohm after realizing i did the wiring wrong it still kept giving problems so right now it’s just thrown down since. And I didn’t even have it that long but it was really pushing some bass nonetheless

So i have ds18 2 12s and my amp is 5500 watts right now i have 4 gage power wire and 4 gage ground wire i have 2005 chevy trail blazer and i was thinking about maybe trying to bridge my subwoofers and go with 0 gage wire just dont really know what i should do bc i dont think im seeing full potential out of my subwoofers

Is it good to match the subs wattage with an amp I have 2 skar audio 12 inch and in both speakers it’s 2500 watts and I have a sundown audio amp that’s 2500 rms the speakers are also rms so idk if it’s good to run them at the same level and not over go on the amp

Can l run 2 12 dvc 4ohms with rms 750, on a class d monoblock 1ch that 1ohm stable 2000w, the amp is nesa td-100 3000w, the dvc subs are ds18 elite-z12. Hope you can make out what the info i gave, it's confusing to me.
