Anyways, the word Jolof is a Wolof word. Wolof people are a tribe just like Hausa I'd a tribe. The Wolof people are predominantly in Gambia and mainly in Senegal.

For instance, the King of the Wolof people pre and post colonialism use to be called "BURBA JOLLOF" meaning the King of Jolof. Jolof is sometimes changed with Wolof(The tribe).

Also, we ( Senegal 🇸🇳 and Gambia 🇬🇲) call it "Benachin", which can be translated as One stove. This means it is cooked in one stove rather than two different stoves, which most other meals are.

We cook it a little different compared to Nigerians, Ghanaian etc.

Are you sure you wanna debate this? For the records we've got the best cooks in both Nigeria and Ghana. On any occasion, if the best cook in Nigeria meets an average cook from Ghana, you know what the results gonna be and vice versa. For the presenter, you've only eaten Ghanaian food there and you've concluded Ghanaian jollof is the best, why don't you come to Nigeria and have a feel of our jollof rice and I bet you'll forget your name 😂😂😂
