Tilly Boleyn - Art, science, and technology: a match made in heaven for collaborative projects

Tilly Boleyn, curator at the Science Gallery Melbourne, was invited to participate in the panel « Empowering social changes » during the symposium Art-Science Residencies organized by IRCAM - Centre Pompidou in the framework of the STARTS Residencies’ days. « How is it that as organizations and as residencies we can create change in an individual, in an organization, and on the world in general? So, one of the main things with us at the Science Gallery is that we bring together different disciplines, showing the value of different disciplines to each other in the end product, and also, embedding in young people the belief that bringing different people in a room is important, that the product is better when you do that », explains Tilly Boylen.

Tilly Boleyn, commissaire d’exposition à la Science Gallery Melbourne, a été invitée à participer au panel « Renforcer les changements sociaux » lors du symposium Art-Science Residencies organisé par l'IRCAM - Centre Pompidou dans le cadre des journées STARTS Residencies. « Comment se fait-il qu'en tant qu'organisations et en tant que résidences, nous puissions créer un changement chez un individu, dans une organisation et dans le monde en général ? L'une des principales choses que nous avons à la Science Gallery est de rassembler différentes disciplines, de montrer la valeur des différentes disciplines les uns aux autres sur le produit final, et aussi, ancrer chez les jeunes la conviction qu'il est important d'amener différentes personnes dans une pièce, que le produit est meilleur quand on fait ça », explique Tilly Boylen.
