Madina was totally engulfed in confusion and anxiety. The companions of the Prophet had gathered around his house with tearful eyes and grieved hearts. The reports which were pouring out from the house showed that his condition was serious, and there was very little hope of his recovery. This showed that only a few moments of his precious life were left.

Wallaah imagine that pain the sahabas felt after the death of the prophet (SAW) it was a great calamity for them and most of them almost turned away from Islam but Abubakar's words made them speechless that whoever worshipped Muhammad then let him know that he has died but whoever worshipped Allah, let him know that Allah is alive and will never die.
