Here's 17 Small Details in Half-Life: Alyx... After 13 years Half-Life has finally made a return but this time in VR and accompanying it is some pretty cool details. On a another note, we may very well be getting Half-Life 3 after all these years, what an emotional thought.

Half-Life is back & brings us some cool details in VR form! This game is brilliant and surprisingly more detailed than I thought it'd be, I can't wait to see what the what Valve have planned for the series going forward... We may finally get Half-Life 3!!!

That combine soldier at the beginning has to be the most patient soldier ever, and probably had his brains blasted by Freeman years later

For combine reacting to your actions, you should have mentioned some of their lines in combat. After missing several shots, they may say "target is inaccurate." Or, if you hide and try to wait for them to come to you, they may say "subject is experiencing extreme panic"

Another neat detail is if you're wearing a hardhat when Larry warns you about the spores. He says "Nice hat by the way"

Fun fact: there are two versions of the vodka bottle in HLA: one is the full, regular bottle which you find all over the place. The second is a bottle with slightly less fluid in it, specifically drop on jeff by Larry, implying he'd taken a swig earlier.

As a russian, i really appreciate that the lines that you can hear at 1:40 are not random words, but are logical sentences that talk about the part of the zoo that you're in. Aswell as other stuff on russian, all lettering makes sense

If you wear a hardhat at “JEFF” chapter, Larry will say: And also... Nice helmet!

When you sneak in unnoticed, the soldiers will joke and make funny scenes. My fav one is “He kicks it. They said not to kick it”

And to think that 22 years ago, the detail of interacting with the laptop of a scientist, who later got mad at us, was an extraordinary detail.

For me, born in 1980s this looks like magic. We never thought that such things would happen, just look at the Nostromo main computer in ALIEN, its a room size machine used for huge autonomous FUCKtory in space...
