✍🏼 Good grammar is good writing—Of course, we want our finished products to be polished and readable, but you don’t have to be a top-notch grammarian to tell stories. That’s what editors are for. Let that sh*t go and write your stories. PLEASE.

✍🏼 You need a university degree to be a writer—Nope! We’re all wired for story, and we all know how to tell them. It’s just that there are some people in the (writing) world who are elitist and want the rest of us to believe we don’t belong unless we walk around with our noses in the air. Let THAT sh*t go and write what you know. You’re FULL of stories. PLEASE tell them.

✍🏼 Good writers know what they want to say before they start—We don’t! We begin a story, we write, to discover what we know. We write stories to locate the meaning making in them. We write to understand the human condition. If you think you need to know and understand the nuances in every story before you start, you won’t get far. PLEASE just start… The wisdom will come.
