BMW X5 diesel m57 scr DEF dosing valve issue

This video shows one of the problems with the diesel emission fluid system how the injector or as they call it dosing valve can become clogged and you will get faults in the selective catalyst for efficiency because the DEF fluid is the chemical reaction needed to reduce nitrous oxide’s in the SCR. This process of unplugging the dosing valve and checking in cleaning only takes about an hour we also removed the exhaust pipe to check for further clogging down stream through the spiral looking diffuser.
