For sinful people to be justified in the sight of a holy God, they must be clothed in the perfect righteousness of someone else. Today, R.C. Sproul declares that the righteousness of Jesus Christ is imputed to all who come to Him in faith.

Our only hope and salvation is in the Lord Jesus Christ.

I absolutely love Dr Sproul's teaching of God's word/biblical theology.
Sir you are missed greatly.

The tarnishing effect of sin: once you've gone there, you can't go back. But you're only saved by faith, anyway. Don't take it as license!

In my view, the righteousness whereby the Triune God is righteous, the righteousness lived out by Christ as God-Man on the earth, the righteousness imputed to us in justification, and the righteousness that characterises our sanctification, are all in essence *one righteousness*.

How can i get or find out faith and trust which those words are in the belief systems and just explain the belief. because i understood the faith and trust are not in human and both words are staying with belief systems.

Make no mistake, christians who do the sins listed in galatians 5:19-21 will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God. Only christians who turn from sin and keep the commandments and obey Jesus Christ will have everlasting life. Disobedient rebellious christians who practice iniquity will go to the furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth, aka hell.

"An Alien Righteousness: Ultimately"

Kind Sir, what in the pluperfect hallelujah is "An Alien Righteousness"?

For how can the word "Righteousness" be lumped with the word "Alien". For Righteousness begins instantly; when ANY one accepts the FREE "gift" of "Everlasting Life" (via the Holy Spirit); AFTER the HS has called them (OFTEN) into Jesus' Kingdom.

In other words: The Holy Spirit calls EVERY person (OFTEN); who will ever have lived; to believe IN Jesus (God). So...IF a person says "NO" up unto death; he WILL be cast into a "Burning Lake of Fire" (hell). NO exceptions. For that is the ONLY sin that Jesus will NOT forgive. It is called...

...The "UN-pardonable" sin!

Mark 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: Mark 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit hath never forgiveness, and they WILL go to hell.

Thus...IF any one says "Yes" when the HS calls (OFTEN), before they die; that person WILL immediately have a 2nd Birth ("Spiritual Baptism"); and that person WILL begin to be righteous; and he will go to Heaven; regardless of whatever he does. For "Salvation" can never be lost. Even though 80% of the Christian world believes it can. "Hogwash!"

And please, and VERY important, remember we should never forget the following facts absolute...

1. Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities (Abominable Sins), like the wind, have taken us away.

2. Mark 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God (who IS Jesus).

3. Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

4. 1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

I rest my case...

...In any case kind Sir, Please Pray and Praise Jesus OFTEN; for He is the ONLY true "God Almighty"; there will ever have been. And may Jesus bless you and yours always. AMEN!
