Loved how The Minish Cap integrated a bunch of folk tales within its gameplay.

The Minish Cap is one of my favorite games of all time. It truly has a special place in my heart, and its a shame it was released so late in the GBA's run

"Often the dev team for ruby and sapphire had motivation issues and had to psyche themselves up". I can so, so relate to this. I'm glad they were able to put out a good pkmn game even with the burnout.

Would probably never happen, but I would love a brand new 2D Zelda game. I mean real 2D sprite work. No polygons ala ALBW. With modern hardware and visual effects (particle effects, crazy amounts of parallax scrolling etc) it would be a retro gamers dream.

I did not realize Castlevania had a kamen rider easter egg. Good job pointing out the references! „Ancient“ also sounds like „henshin!“, the exclamation kamen riders make when transforming. Hence the transforming devices are commonly called „henshin belts“.

I think the unfinished portrait of Goku you saw is the same portrait they used in the previous game: legacy of Goku 2. I must've played those games a thousand times as a kid! Long time fan of your channel too!

It definitely would be a nice to see the Kinstone system returning one day in a future Zelda game,
perhaps on the next big one after TotK, and on the next-gen Nintendo console.

Minish cap and legacy of goku were my favorite games as a kid. It's great to see some representation all these years later.

Man I hope they remake minish cap or do something with it soon. I think the micro-scale aesthetic is underutilized and there's a lot of potential there, especially with modern mechanics and systems

Thanks!
16:16 is actually from Legacy Of Goku 2. So they had reuse assets portraits but they made new ones
Also can you make a video on Yakuza or Judge series before Ishin gets released? Also to do videos on Sega games since Nintendo & Sega were rival companies. And maybe take a break from Nintendo stuff.

I love that the gaming community is starting to translate magazines 🙏🏻

Although I love when a Zelda game puts more emphasis on the overworld, I've grown an appreciation for the dungeons I didn't used to have.

Minish Cap was absolutely fantastic and gets way too little love and mention nowadays which is a shame. Especially considering it's a GBA game it's so well made and pretty full with content.

I’ve recently been replaying Minish Cap, so it’s great to learn some new history behind it!
