I do wish they would say fuck it and throw a bunch of Destiny 1’s strikes into Destiny 2, but i know most of it would need to be fully re-built. Archon priest and phogoth would be great fun with strand and stasis

Been playing since day one and when the vanilla d1 campaign released, the game was so bare and weird that I went down a rabbit hole way back then to find out what happened to the game. I unearthed lots of similar stuff (like what you’re starting to talk about) that changed my whole perspective on “what could’ve been” and it always brings back that mystery that D1 made me feel that’s sadly been lost along the way since the d1 alpha. Seeing this stuff reminds me of what could’ve been and this stuff is just great! Keep it going!

Most cut content ends up getting used eventually. Io is just a blue version of an unreleased Mars area from D1. The Forge of the Gods DLC was probably supposed to be part of that area. The story was partially moved to the Shield Brothers in Taken King. Bungie are really good at repurposing things.

A destiny remake after the final shape would be a win win, do this original concept and people can experience it and Bungie can continue doing reskins

I wish we could get a truly massive raid, as much of an LFG nightmare as it could probably be. King's Fall and Last Wish are great, but they are still not that much longer than the others. It almost looks to me like, if Bungie had gotten it right on their first attempt, Destiny as a whole would be much closer to a full-blown MMO in terms of gameplay mechanics, and I wish we could have seen that version of the game, as much as I like the current one.

How much you wanna bet that the first Hive raid was going to be one of the best pieces of raid content that you have ever experienced, that would have kept you coming back for more?

They just told you that they took all of your story and depth, and fragmented it into a game modes and DLC!

This should be more of a slap in the face than anything.

We also have to remember this game came out on the ps3 and xbox 360, th9se systems probably couldnt handle that big of a raid tbh, still disappointing but ive been playing since d1 beta i already know what that feels like lmao (help me i cant stop playing this gamr it has a grip on my life that i cant shake)

Seems you completely forgot in the house of wolves expansion we were supposed to have a raid, that was never delivered. Bungie even said they were gonna release it. Fast forward to wraith of the machine and Siva. We still didn't get that last fallen raid we were supposed to or we repaid for it

That original story is what roped everyone in to buying that game but then the video game equivalent of crack sank its claws into everyone lol 😂😂😂
