ACR ResQLink 406 MHz Personal Locator Beacon (PLB)

Показать описание
If you are in the back country, or on a lake, or on the ocean, or anywhere on the planet and want the ability to notify search and rescue that you are in distress these PLBs are the most robust option to do so. No subscription needed. You must register these with NOAA (in the US) and can transfer registration if you buy a used unit. While a satellite communication device is great for texting, if you want the best option to get rescued, you want the 5 watt 406 MHz option.

You covered this a lot better than most videos I've seen. You may know something I don't, but last time I checked specs, SPOT transmits at only 0.4 watts, versus 1.6 for the InReach and 5.0 watts for the ACR PLB. If Spot has upgraded their signal strength is must be on the version after Spot Gen3.
