"They are not babysitters, they are educators, and they deserve much more!" "Abbot Elementary" stars Quinta Brunson, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Lisa Ann Walter stress the importance of educators across the country, and share the different ways they've supported under-appreciated teachers, including giving away school supplies and raising $350,000 for Jackson State University. The cast also praises the young actors of color who play their students on the show, and Quinta and Sheryl reveal where they keep their new Emmy awards at home.

I just love this about Kelly, that she is able to just have a conversation instead of a traditional interview. Yes, there are talking points and stuff. But she's just able to go with the flow, and not get hung up on the questions. It's so natural!

I LOVE Abbott Elementary so much, one of my favorites and these women are incredible together and in their own way!

I never really thought I'd have an original show in my generation that will make me talk about it for decades like Andy Griffith and Good times... thank you Quinta so much

My favorite line from Sheryl is from Sister Act 2:
“SINGING DOES NOT PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE!”

My friend Heather is a 3rd grade teacher and she is struggling so much with trying to help her kids and her family. She’s amazing and deserves so much more than she gets paid!!

Now we can't forget about Jacob. I love him so much, he tries so hard to fit in. I think all the teachers on that show really show how much most teachers love their students. One of my favorite parts so far was last season when one of Barbara's students had to read in front of the school. I just loved his little dances and he had so much personality. And when he got it, it just made me cry a little.

Teachers wear many hats. As a retired Elementary classroom/music teacher, I saw my students and knew my students better than their parents. I was a Mama bear when it came to my students. I cared very deeply for them and tried to help in other ways as well despite being underpaid and underappreciated.
