Thank you for sharing your knowledge. My work truck has been dead 4 days in a row. Our mechanic keeps testing these batteries and I keep having to jump them off every morning. Going to change them this morning. Thank you again!

I appreciate this video. Thank you. It’s been a crazy three days and now I know where to actually start. I do smell the rotten egg smell near the battery and air filter. I drive a 2012 Silverado so the battery reservoir and the air filter are all on the same side and next to each other.

Probably one of the most helpful videos because I always noticed a rotten egg smell when I used to put my foot down on the gas. I didn’t know load could do this.

Thanks Willie! The smell came out of nowhere. I thought it could have been caused by bad gas. I stopped on a road trip for gas and the pump was super slow. I set the pump and went in to use the restroom; by the time I came back out; there was less than a gallon pumped into an almost empty tank.

very helpful. i've heard it can also be a bad fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump, due to causing a lean condition. I had it happen recently and was able to monitor my AFR and establish that it probably isn't my fueling so i'm definitely going to check out my battery and filter.

Had my a/c on high in my 06 Fusion driving up a long steep hill when I smelt eggs so that bacon!!!!
And it went away. Load on engine indeed my guy!!!!

Thanks Willie. I appreciate you. I'm a single mother and leaning about automotive repairs as I go. I'm betting it's my air filter and fuel injectors. I have an oxygen sensor code popping up on my scan reader. I'm determined to diagnose all these issues and get to the fmroot of the problem. I know I have to test the oxygen sensor first to see if I do need to replace it. I'm hoping not, since those are a greater price.

Thanks, the first thing to check if the smell is not coming out of the tailpipe is the battery. I had a terrible smell inside my 2013 Ford Escape. It was the battery. The person I bought the car from never checked the fluid level because it is damn near impossible to get to.
