Buying games can be really satisfying but what about when you... can't! Some thing just have prices that are out of reach. Rather than complain about it, I thought we could use this video as a way to relate to each other.

You're in that category of YouTubers that makes me stop whatever I'm doing to watch the latest upload! Appreciate your humor and thoughts.

As a collector of retro systems, I have just about everything, including the rare obscure stuff. Panasonic Q, Neo-Geo AES, Neo-Geo CDZ, SuperGrafx, TG-16 CD add-on, Turbo Duo, Atari Jaguar, Jaguar CD add-on. I was lucky enough to get them years ago before prices went crazy. The one I missed out on and just can’t afford anymore would be the Nintendo 64DD. Years ago I could’ve grabbed it for about $400, now they’re $1, 200-$1, 500. Great video as always.

I bought "The Misadventures of Tron Bonne" new, played it, and sold it to a local game store in the early 2000s for a few bucks. Some years later, I was shocked to find out it was now worth hundreds, moving it firmly into the "never going to rebuy it" category.

category 4 for me is Magical Chase for the Turbografx-16. Yes, I had a TG-16 as a kid and still do! Also Category 4, Neo Geo consoles/games.

My 4 is really a 3, I want one of the NES toploaders that came with the multiAV out. Because it's out there, and maybe I could afford it, but it seems like no one's selling it. And I know I could mod a regular top loader, but that's just not what I want.

I remember commenting about this question before, I’m good with not owning a Saturn or a NeoGeo, but boy would it be fun to have a friend who does! I’ve also come to realize that if I want a game, I can get it eventually, even if it’s expensive. Even if it goes from a category 3 to 4, it just helps you realize how important or not it is to you.

Ok Im w/ u Birdo. If somehow it could happen I would have a room dedicated to some sit down arcades. Especially the ones that move around & u weren't aloud to get close due to safety wen watching people play. So sit down After Burner, Hydro Thunder, Hard Driving, 4 player Daytona Racing arcades...Im sure there's more. Just a few off the top!!

The one game i want right now is Phantasy Star Online episode 1 and 2 plus for the nintendo gamecube. It sells for over 300 now for some reason. Got it back in 2003 for like 40 bucks.

Too bad I wasn't born twenty years earlier so I could actually afford a copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga. Oh boy.

My category 3 console is a Pioneer LaserActive. I'm already a big fan of the LaserDisc format and have multiple LaserDisc players. It's not a real expensive home video format. But it seems that the LaserActive is the most sought after model, not because it's the best LaserDisc player ever, it definitely isn't, but just because it can play games. It tends to be the only LaserDisc player that game collectors want, so LaserActives are worth a lot more than most LaserDisc players. Just the Sega and Turbografx pacs alone are worth hundreds. I've come close to pulling the trigger on one. Maybe some day...

The ones that sting the most are games I used to own and sold and now are in that third category. Looking at you Suikoden II and Megaman X3

Fujitsu FMTowns Marty lol. Thats a deep cut, comes from that weird era where almost every electronics manufacturer was making a console of some type.
