Thank you for making such a great video! It gave me the confidence to do this $1000 job.
I went to the local a/c shop and asked them for the expansion valve gasket!
Also, I didn't disconnect the backside of the relay box, i just cut the giant zip tie on the harness with all the tension, it gave like 5" slack and it was enough to remove the evap casing.
Took me 8 hours today and I managed to replace the expansion valve/evap core and replace and put it back in. Tomorrow i do the harnesses and dashboard!

Good Lord that's a lot of work for a $60 part. Can't put a price on working air thought. I WAS going to replace mine on my own, but not now. 🤣. Great video. Thank you.

I had to drink a beer for you after how tired this made me. That’s quite a disassembly to get to a simple part.

Hello Mr. Ortega, my blower gasket has green fluid on it on the outside. The cabin floor below the Evap core, Evap drain and blower has green fluid coming down. Do you think this is more likely expansion valve or evap core leak? The drain hose to outside is not clogged. tyvm
