On March 3, 2023, officers responded to a local store after a security employee reported a theft in progress. CCTV footage revealed four women, likely family members, stealing items from the shelves. Despite clear evidence, the women refused to cooperate with officers and became argumentative. One woman was arrested, while another, a minor, was issued a citation for a court appearance. The investigation continued at the police station, and the woman was later charged with petty theft in court. The store employees were thanked for their assistance and advised to remain vigilant.
