How to Import Data From Excel To Tally Prime | Import Sales and Purchases with VAT

This video is all about importing Sales and Purchases from Excel to Tally Prime. We are going to introduce, a Powerful, and easy to use TDL, to import Sales and Purchases from Excel to Tally.
This TDL has two features:
One is to "Create Masters". which used to import Sundry Debtors or Customers, and Sundry Creditors or Suppliers.
Another one is called, "Import the Vouchers", which is for importing Purchases, and Sales Vouchers.
You need to have an excel sheet, to import Sales and Purchases to Tally.

You can either download and use this template, or you can make it your own.

This file you have to save in the Tally File Location.

Secondly, You have to create the Ledger Accounts,
for Sales Account,
Purchase Account and
VAT.
and Finally, You have to change the Voucher numbering from Automatic to Manual.

Once you complete these simple steps, you are good to go and import the Master and Vouchers
