Adobe can cost you an arm and a leg, especially if you only need one or two of their softwares. They have a few promotions every now and then, but it can still rack up to be quite the big bill. Thankfully there's SO many alternatives for their softwares, so I put together a list of all the best free versions of all the desktop Adobe's softwares (and some of the extra stuff that comes with a Creative Cloud subscription). There's quite a lot that I didn't mention in this video but the one's I mention seem to be some of the most well known, or at least most talked about.

DaVinci Resolve also can do a lot of what After Effects AND Audition do. Another option for PDF editing is Foxit Reader. About the only editing that I think you would need in the paid version is combining and splitting PDFs (PDF Sam can handle that part). Security features, watermarking, adding text fields, etc are all there.

Audacity is a bit gimped in front of audition but at least you are no longer paying to not owning your software

At this point "Penpot" is the best XD alternative imo. You should check it out!
Penpot is open source and just got out of beta.
