i was just curious, so my family and I have used Masterbooks curriculum the last 4 years but with their Biology, the teaching book does not match very well with the workbook, So I am considering trying Apologia for my 9th grader. Do you think this would be a good choice since I am trying to keep all of my kiddos learning Christian based for homeschool. Thank you

What are your comparison thoughts for 2nd edition vs 3rd edition?

I'm in 10th grade and we are doing this, everyone is talking about how hard this new one is, it has so much information and we have to read bbn it in such a short amount of time. A lot of people are switchong curriculums with this one. It goes really in depth with a lot of subjects, which is good, but it can be pretty confusing and hard. Anyway I hope yall enjoy it!

Does the test answer key also give answers for the student notebook daily questions?

So this is what their new high school Bio looks like. We have Apologia high school bio, and my little sister is doing it right now, but we have a very, very old edition (it was my textbook when I was in high school), the updates look really nice!

After having used it for a few months how do you feel about it? I have read reviews saying is very overwhelming, there is a lot to read, and a lot of vocabulary to memorize.

I regret buying this one. Apologia has no online experiments for this edition so if your not in a homeschool group amd don't have 300 for a microscope I dont know what to do.

My son is starting 9th grade and im considering this curriculum. Does is have a level 2 for 10th grade?

Does it come with answers to the questions?

I found the whole a bit pricey... what in your opinion would be the must haves in the set without spending a fortune? Tk u, very helpful video

I have 8 children also! :) 6 of which I am homeschooling... grades 4 through 8th. Do you think this would be a good curriculum for all of them to do? I am trying to get them all doing the same thing as much as possible. Do you have experience with Abeka? How do you think this compares to Abeka's Observing God's World? Thanks! :)

What did your child take for 8th Science?

We’re going to try Learn Math Fast(review done by Annie and everything) and Bio 101 series (sooo excited about this). We tried Apologia young explorers and loved it but when it came to upper grades, they took out color, and child was bored. Notgrass history is great too, it’s literature, bible, history in one.
