2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali vs Denali Ultimate | Differences Explained!

In the video we compare the 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali vs the Denali Ultimate. These two trucks are going to be extremely similar when the Denali is equipped with the Denali Reserve package, power running boards, Kicker audio, and a few other items that all come standard on the Ultimate. There are however a few features that are exclusive to the Ultimate which make it a tempting buy for some. The Denali is the highest trim available with the gas 6.6L engine which may make the decision easier for some although more difficult if you are opting for the Duramax. And here I bought a 2016 2500HD Duramax High Country with the 3 tone brown leather interior, every available option - and when it was brand it was $67K. How have we are at $100K for the same running gear pretty much, but a different dash and display unit. It’s just insane what the prices of trucks has come to.
Lift it, new wheels and tires, and a couple more good things and boom, yours at $150K. That’s crazy.

Really helpful video, thanks. I had not considered the "plain" Denali previously and have only been shopping the Ultimate. With everything shown here I don't plan to change my decision, but the well presented comparison makes me feel better!

I got the regular Denali with the reserve package, Power steps, Color matched fenders & upgraded black rims. I did this because I wanted all black interior. 5k for massage seats, Vader chrome & a kicker speaker, didn't make sense to me. Mine optioned out it just under 93k. This was an order cancellation, so I was able to snatch it up. I might have taken it if an Ultimate had been available for prompt delivery. Purchased it last week but had to wait for the rims. I picked it up yesterday. Absolutely love it!

I have the Ultimate 2500 HD and I absolutely love it, 5k more and you get such an upgrade in interior and it was so worth it to me. Highly, highly recommend this truck.

Really like everything about the Ultimate, nice build except the black chrome. Black chrome seems a current trend / fad… To an ‘old guy, Chrome is classic style.

A 100, 000 dollar home, if you keep it up and maintained will grow in value. A 100, 000 dollar truck will only decrease in value, even if you keep it up and add extras to it like exhaust lift better tires and rims and so on so. it dont make sense buying a 100, 00 dollar vehicle, or it dont make sense that a vehicle cost that much especially a truck that are made to work with. but this is a crazy world we live in.

Thanks for a very insightful video. Since this may be my last truck purchase I am probably going to go with the Ultimate. Honestly -- it deserves the name Ultimate based on the interior alone. I have not seen so nice an interior on a GMC truck. The last one I had that was as nice was a Ford F-350 King Ranch.

We ordered the 2024 3500HD Denali and items that used to be include with the Denali pkg, are now optional extra cost, but included with the expensive Ultimate. Not worth the cost.

I love my Ultimate. Best vehicle I've ever owned. Amazing tech, never thought I'd use super cruise, I use it all the time. Best riding vehicle I've ever owned and my wife drives an Escalade.

Love the Ultimate but don’t like the black chrome. They should offer the Ultimate with regular chrome!

This the way I see it, the denali should have been what the ultimate is anyway, it's always been the top of the line but, if they can get somebody to pay for the "ultimate" name, it's on the buyer🤷🏾‍♂️
