I watched this show as a child (about 5 or 6ish), I fucking hated it.
Whenever I acted up, Mom would tell me I was "acting like Caillou" and I'd cut the shit immediately.

Also it's so ironic that it was developed by child psychologists. That's so hilarious.

The animators said he's bald because he's a baby in the original book. And when they gave him hair, he didn't look like his original book character so they kept him bald.

I find it disturbing how he pinched Rosie while she was still an infant in one episode, but it’s even worse when you find out that in the book version that he BIT HER???

Funny enough when my sister and I were little we used to immediately change the channel when the Cailou theme song came on. One time the remote was out of batteries so we ran downstairs to the basement and hid. Mom had to change the channel manually.

I seen Episode 5 on Teletoon before it was banned when I was a kid, my grand mother asked me if I liked him. I said he's okay, and she replied with: He's a whiny little twat.

Kids DO realistically react how Caillou does sometimes. But most kids also behave better the majority of the time. Caillou is ONLY an asshole.

OK, I have a theory to why Caillou has no hair, It's not because he has cancer or anything, its because his body knows that he doesn't deserve any.

If this little boy was real I wouldn't hate him, I would loath his parents for screwing up so fucking bad. They aren't the worst, they don't physically or emotionally abuse their children, but neglect of duty is just awful.

I remember watching this as a child and enjoying, but as time goes on, this show and the characters are terrible. Especially Caillou.

I remember a friend's niece had huge behavioural issues as a little kid around 4-5 years old. They decided to stop letting her watch Caillou, and her behaviour drastically and quickly improved within a couple of months lol. They were fully convinced that Caillou was teaching her bad behaviour.

At this point, The Mom and Dad never should've even thought of Rosie, just in case She acts like her Annoying, Whiny, Bratty Brother Caillou, They are not even Fit for Parenthood!

9:24 - To be fair, if a grown ass adult expected a four and a two years old (that barely talks) to work out their differences instead of doing HER job and be a parent (and maybe distract Rosie making her play with something else? For how incredibly annoying that bald gremlin was, kids still have the right to play without interferences, Rosie might have been too young to learn about respecting her brother's boundaries yet, but not to be taken to play alone and give him space), I would tell her off too.
