I knew Oteil from the Colonel Bruce Hampton and the Aquarium Rescue Unit days. Great band if you've never heard them. Bruce died a while back. We always were Bacharach when they came to Memphis and would visit in Atlanta lot.

What the hell is a interval and what does he mean by minor 3rds or major 3rds. Is he taking the 3rd note from a major scale and then playing the 3rd note for a minor scale? I swear Scott’s bass lessons are great but for beginners they use so much terminology that idk and I get stuck. Rly wish I could get past this barrier I’m at
