I don't feel like this is a discrepancy though. It's not that he's saying, "I can now HANDLE x150." he's saying it won't even slow him down. Similar to when he said to Pui Pui that he genuinely couldn't even feel the x10 gravity of his homeworld; he might mean the same here, that now he can't even feel the difference that x150 puts on him. It's not just something he can easily handle now, it's _effortless._

That's my take from it at least, because as forgetful as Toriyama is, it's not just him that has to remember stuff anymore.
