Woodturning a rootball into a bowl !!!

In this video take the risk to turn a full root ball and not just a piece like i use to !! i learn a lot of this projects and i share this video with you !! i am wait for your comments and your ideas !!! This is a very beautiful piece. It freaked me right out when it flew off the lathe... I think it also would've looked amazing with some coloured resin filling the holes. 👍

Hi Kostas, it is a genial piece! The last time I turned a root, I also had this experience of falling of my lathe. I roundet up a waste block, made a recess and glued it in the bottom. At the end I turned it away. So it was a little safer. Best wishes from Austria
