People will drop insurance because its cheaper to pay a ticket for not having insurance then it is to pay for insurance. This will happen way before people stop driving.

Insurance is also up due to all the illegals driving around uninsured. Just adds to the problem. Dont worry, theres only at least 20 million in the country. Certainly that isn't causing issues. And freezing rates will just cause companies to close. Price control never works.

I own a Subaru with 250k miles and was shopping for a new Subaru. Good deal thru Subaru loyalty program BUT, my insurance company wants to raise my premium from $68mo to $259mo😮 No thanks! I’ll keep this one till the wheels fall off….

you HAVE to have a car, there is no other way to get to work within a reasonable time frame, no way to get your months groceries home from the store, no way to get a tv home from the store, no way to go out camping, no way to go visiting family and friends unless you have a car.

Was a technician for 2 decades. Never made enough to support a family. Couldnt afford it being a mailman either. Blue collar survival is gone. I do my own repairs and cant afford insurance. Or gas.
