You NEED this Sidearm

You need to get this sidearm. Lotus eater is the new void rocket sidearm that gets destabilizing rounds. Kills with this weapon will spread volatile to nearby targets and give you volatile rounds for a few seconds. So you can continue to create explosions and it allows you to stun barrier champions too. On top of that it gets repulsor brace to get Overshields each time you kill one of these volatile targets or you can get it with reconstruction to reload it over time and overfill the magazine to over 30 shots in the which no other rocket sidearm can do. And if you get an adept version with extended mag and an adept mag mod, it can hold up to 40 shots at a time. So you’ll never have to reload this thing. And because this is a nightfall weapon, it gets the vanguards vindication origin trait to heal you for a small amount each time you get a kill and as you can see, this gets kills constantly so you’ll be healing a lot more than you realize.

As crazy as 40 shots without reloading is….. why would you ever need 40 shots in a row on a rocket sidearm.

If you want consistent Repulsor procs definitely look for Withering Gaze. Typically on other weapons that have it you need 2 shots to proc; one to weaken and the second to kill.

With Lotus Eater and its impact + explosion it can do all of that on one allowing you to get overshield on a single red bar kill.


Destab is still good but if the volatile explosion gets the kill it wont count as weapon kills for Repulsor.

It took me 8 GM runs to get repulse brace destabilize rounds and it absolutely slaps. Reconstruction is fun to but not better than the overshield.

Got a god roll yesterday unfortunately the kill counter is bugged and shows the same amount of kills as the weapon in your first slot

You only get Volatile Rounds for Volatile Marksman in the seasonal Artifact. This function isn’t apart of the actual weapon itself. Just a side effect of being void in this season with a specific mod.

I got Volatile, Tactical Mag, Repulsor Brave, Destabilizing Rounds yesterday and it’s really good and with hunter u be invisible all the time, something i tried was shooting close to wall and it way less damage to ourselves compared to the arc sidearm, id say this void is better.

I'm probably going to go for the Repulsor Brace Destabilizing Rounds roll and a Reconstruction Withering Gaze roll.

With the change in how rocket sidearms deal damage (direct hits deal most of the damage) I now prefer beacon rounds + destabilising. Sure its not hard to land the dumbfire rockets but it makes hitting those flying dread easier.

My favorite roll is Recon Highground.
I think I have plenty of options for destabilize, but I just want a good ole rocked blaster with a 30 round mag.

I did like 20 gms in a row and used all my NF ciphers on the non adept version to get more chances and only got ONE with destab rounds. What on earth

gridskipper also gets repulsor destab, same with the bow from this season and recluse. i think admetus scout rifle also can get repulsor withering gaze, but i guess more variety is good
