I think the point of the Love Potion that you missed is to use it as flavoring in other treats, like chocolate or baked cakes and stuff. You hide the love potion in the other treats like the ones that Ron eat in the series.

I know that Chocolate Frogs aren’t your favourite because they’re solid, but as a child, my biggest gripe was that chocolate was incredibly thin and hollow!
Imagine as a kid having one of these for the first time and not being able to fully bite into it because it’s solid chocolate. A DREAM😍🙏🏻

I don't think that fake windows in beans' packaging was a corner cut. The tin version is supposed to be kept and used as a container for something.
1) You usually don't want windows in your storage boxes, because it just won't look good.
2) By printing beans the tin will always look like a box of beans. No matter what's inside.

The Harry Potter themed "Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans" created by Jelly Belly originally came out in 2000. I remember buying them for Christmas a few years because my mother and siblings liked the movies, so I got them some of the Harry Potter candy. I remember getting Ice Mice and Cockroach Clusters, and of course the old style Chocolate Frog which was in a rectangular thing like a pack of Pokemon cards and the chocolate itself was more of a bite size single serving... They had a Drooble's Best Blowing Gum that came in a little drawstring bag, but I think I skipped than because it was just gum, so not as fun as the others. For some reason I feel like there was also a different Fizzing Whizbees back then, not a chocolate but like those hard candies that have the powder in the middle so it foams up when you eat it... That is what you should do next time, go on eBay and order 20 year old out of date candy from the original Harry Potter line...

After that it inspired Jelly Belly to create Beanboozled in 2008, although in those as you know from your "Danger Beans" challenges there are two different possibilities which look the same so you could get a good or a bad one. The Harry Potter ones weren't made to trick you, there are no hidden ones, every colour is unique so you know what flavour you get before you bite into it. Although I am basing my knowledge on the ones from the early 2000s, I don't know about the ones you buy on the website today, maybe they do have a challenge version now? But you were looking at it the other way around, thinking the Bertie Bott's ones were copying the Danger Beans, but in reality it was the other way around (and the same company made both, so it wasn't copying, just rebranding).

I think the Bertie Botts tin has the pictures so you can still display it so it doesn't look empty after you eat them. It's not really cutting corners because it takes more material to put the windows in

Chocolate in the UK does generally taste better and have a better texture- it’s because it’s actually chocolate rather than with loads of chemicals and preservatives in it. Apparently US chocolate tastes really waxy (from what I’ve heard) compared to the chocolate we have!

I ate a worm when I was in kindergarten. Many years later I tried the every flavor beans and I took one that brought me right back to that moment in kindergarten. I haven't had any since then.
