In Warzone 1 I had to become a sweat and grind the game to become good. In Warzone 2 I dont have time to play the game, Im a bot and still doing good. That shows how low the skill gap is.

Note all the gaps he mentioned are all fundamental in nature. When the gaps are based on game sense the meta becomes VERY stable and consistent. The team with the best gamesense will consistently perform and win.

Which can become boring and make it difficult for other teams to find edges to win. Mechanical gaps create volatility which is exciting especially in tourney. You never know when a team will surprise and upset a top contender.

Thats the point people should have the option to grind and grow into a skill gap if they want to. Nearly every other BR out there has it except this one and people wonder why its fallen flat very quickly.. I remember when I first picked up Warzone 1 I was actually ass, could barely manage 2 kills a game if that! Once I realised I actually really liked that game, I realised I didn't want to suck at something I actually enjoyed playing so I went ahead and practiced my movement and aim as well as studying videos on how to read the game better and what do you know I actually got better at the game, much better! I enjoyed my progression into becoming really good at the game, being able to check my progress in seasonal KD. It's good to have a game with a skill gap, once you feel like you have accomplished your goal its actually pretty rewarding! I have played less than 10 games of Warzone 2 and I just find it so boring to play, it just doesn't feel rewarding and there is absolutely jackshit to learn. Its far too easy to play, I literally won my first 3 games of Warzone 2 and I have barely played it since! It took me nearly a 4 months to get my first win on OG Verdansk!

I think a lot of Warzone streamers need to mix other FPS games into their rotation for stream cuz I think they've been way too nit picky about WZ2's issues and are overreacting to them in their commentary on the game's mechanics.
