John J. Scura III., Esq. explains the importance of personal injury protection (PIP) coverage in New Jersey and gives his recommendation for the minimum coverage you should get.

In New Jersey, Personal Injury Protection or (PIP) is the medical insurance coverage within your automobile policy when you are injured in an vehicular. If you are injured while a pedestrian, driver or passenger, your insurance company will compensate your medical bills, regardless of who was to blame for the accident. In New Jersey, this action is titled "no fault". When selection insurance coverage, it is recommended you select a minimum of $250,000 with a $250 deductible. If you select any insurance coverage below this amount, you are taking unnecessary financial risk.

Hi I approve for SAIP insurance but Im skeptical. What are the experiences you people had? Stories? -

My 2 Concerns; ¹). If there's no coverage for accident can the other person sue you? Whether your fault or not?
²). If it's the other person's fault, (which is usually is) will this SIAP insurance, or company fight for you?
