Planted a couple of Scots pine about 12 years ago there 30 + feet high and attract red squurels and pine martens and all sorts of native birds good video dude.

I'm struggling to id my pine tree. it has flaking bark similar to a scots but the needles (in 2's) do not twist and seem longer and yellower than a scots. really got me confused. Great vid by the way

great video, helpful for id!! as a terminology note, conifers are non-flowering plants (i.e. gymnosperms), so it isn't technically correct to say that pine cone develops from the female flower (:

Of course I'll leave a like 😉 I migjt have that pine tree. I thought red squirrels were only native to New York, I have a few in my yard. I love your stoats (ferrets).
