I have the space black iPhone 14 Pro and personally like the feel of the phone caseless. I’ve dropped the phone on concrete from waist level and just a few knicks on the stainless band. I was surprised no broken glass. I even have the leather case that I use off and on and always end up removing it due to the added thin bulk. I have AppleCare so I’m not worried too much.

I wouldn’t really trust myself going caseless because my screen protector is always broken and I always drop it on the floor

How do you manage to get your phones all scratched up like that? I’ve rocked my 13 pro caseless since launch day and I’ve only dropped it once so there’s a tiny knick on the top corner, but absolutely zero scratches on the frame or anywhere else. I’m very careful with my tech though.

I am definitely in team no case (and I have a generally good record of not dropping phones but with kids it has happened to me around 3 times in 10 years - I just have to live with the risk). What annoys me the most is phantom screen scratches. As I go beach a lot (Sand) I think for me the combo has to be mainly no case but at least a glass protector and on beach day.... A case.

As others have said caseless teaches you to be careful and not hog your phone but also appreciate the design. Although I'm not comfortable getting other people to hold my phone without a case :-)

Caseless with both my iPhone 14 pros, and aside from like maybe one just one single scratch on one particular side, I don’t have any scratches and I’m not exactly careful, but I’m not dropping it at all, so do you have a lot of sand in your pocket or something?

Bro do you work in a construction site, the phone is barely 4 months you got it and it’s looking like this 😢 I use my iphone 14 pro space black case less and I got no scratches at all..

Some hard plastic cases can still scratch the stainless steel, so go with soft cases

I won’t go caseless with my 14 Pro Max because I can’t deal with the fingerprint smudges on the shiny stainless steel frame.Hopefully the problem will be solved with the 15 Pro/Pro Max and onwards if rumours are correct and they switch to a titanium frame.

I’ve literally been switching cases at work and set my phone on the office desks and then picked it up and it’s completely scratched all over the front.

Bruh literally when I even think about taking my 14 pro outta my case my dad will literally turn into a mad man until I put my phone in a case then will lecture me and yell what could happen if my phone fell without a case lol

I have a iPhone 14 Pro Max and went caseless for about 6 months as well. My iPhone didn't get as scratched up as yours, but we all use our phones differently. I bought the Apple leather case a few weeks ago mostly because the stainless steel would get slippery after a while and I had to clean it a lot to maintain a good grip and because I hated setting down on a hard surface. I never use a screen protector but I have AppleCare+ if needed.

I have used mine for 6 months caseless and it still like new zero scratches thinks to my microfiber that i use for cleaning, i never use tissue because it scratch it and i keep it from falling and from sharp surfaces

My OCD won’t allow me to go case-less until we have titanium, where hopefully the fingerprints won’t be noticeable. Even then, I’ll use a screen protector to protect the front glass. I don’t know how you do it, those scratches would drive me crazy.

I would not risk not having a case on such an expensive iPhone or any phone
