9 Steps to Setting up a Good Revit Model

In this tutorial I breakdown how Revit users should approach a project so that the models remain organised and can be easily coordinated externally through 9 Simple Steps.

Error to note in the video - in Step 7, when rotating your True North angle make sure to relocate the center of rotation onto the Project Base Point, otherwise you may bring an innacuarcy to the setting out of the building relative to the coordinate system.

Filters and view templates make multi-discpline models very practical and easier to manage. not too mention export to Navisworks.

I moved the Project Base Point to the map coordinates but it was just the point that moved - the project stayed where it was.
