Hi, thank for sharing! Is it possible to make this matrix to a visual graph? Also have a filter to show different customer? Thank you

This is cool but would be nice to be able to add a second dimension field. For example, show me the top 10 customers by quarter and then allow me to drill down into the products they purchased. This formula does not work for that 😢

Great tip!

I tried it in two different ways with a slight variation changing the last line of the formula and it works !

Am I missing something here?

1. IF( RANKX( ALL(Customer[Customer Names]), [Total Sales], , DES ) <= 10, TRUE())))

2. IF( RANKX( ALL(Customer[Customer Names]), [Total Sales], , DES ) <=10))

Great video! As of the July update the Matrix and Table are no longer preview visuals.

Hi! Awesome video. I have created the formula in my PBI. But how can I do the filter based on my pareto instead of filtering top 10 customers? I need some guidance here please!! :)

I tried the formula with just the if statement you had and it still worked. Is there a reason to use calculate and filter in the formula?

Hey Sam, thanks for sharing this formula. Is there a way to show the number of the rank for every client instead of the sales value amount?

Did anyone else have an issue with the revenue for each quarter being the same?

Great video Sam!
How could I get the column Grand Total to add up each quarter? eg. E. Lts Customer = 449, 442.70 ... there are many blank Totals.
Thank you!

Isn't it possible to simply use TOPN within the calculate statement to obtain the same result?

Hi!
Thank you for such really helpful video!
I have similar task at work. I need sum data by top 5 customers, but top 5 should be calculated by last period of time in all periods - I mean, I will see the same 5 customers in all periods. Is it possible? Can you help me, please?

This data would be quite well visualised in the new Ribbon visual I reckon.

How do you do this except with top 10 percent instead of top 10?
