FIRST LOOK: 2107hp Rimac Nevera R – 0-60mph in 1.74 seconds!

This isn’t just a faster Rimac Nevera – because that would be ridiculous. No one could possibly want for more power or speed than a Nevera offers. But apparently, would-be customers were telling boss Mate Rimac that while they appreciated the 1888bhp EV hypercar’s comfort and GT abilities, they wanted something a bit bitier in the corners.

Hence the Nevera R arrives, with 15% more downforce, 10% less understeer, and 100% more attitude. Anyone else seeing echoes of Lamborghini Aventador SVJ in that tri-support rear wing? Can you see an echo? Never mind.

Naturally, the R gets more power: new motors mean it’s up to 2078bhp, and good for 0-186mph in less than nine seconds. But is that enough to make hypercar collectors giddy for electric, when they could have a V12 or even a V16 instead? Join Top Gear Magazine’s Ollie Kew for a closer look inside and out…

We got 2 variants of the Nevera out and the first Nevera having performed several records before the Tesla Roadster came out.

I don't care much for ev's and don't care much for ev Hypercar's, and yet, I'm willing to give this Nevera R a pass. Mainly the redesign, which is on point ! It look's like it deserves a twin-turbo v10 tuned by UGR. That power-plant would match the 2000hp battery with added glorious, the Nevera R is a looker.

For me it's just the looks, the Nevera looked like a highly sophisticated robot from the future. The Nevera R looks like a wild animal, an absolute beast!

2 reasons you buy one of these same as with any other speed demon hypercar such as a Bugatti Chiron SS or a Hennessy Venom F5 is just for pure acceleration and speed and how lucky you are to afford such car. Your not exactly gonna set new lap records at the Nurburgring or Silverstone in this. Dont hate the car nor love it but nevertheless its still a monster of car with warp speed acceleration. Some say it can time travel on how fast it is.
