It Simply depend on 3 things things. All programming languages do everything. But why some use different languages depends
You want to write small or medium applications or Apps then go for modern language. And if large applications then go for Low level programming language C or C++
If you are wodking for Operating systems, or large desktop application such as Adobe Photoshop or large games go for C/c++ or Visual basic for Microsoft .
Third see what type of programming you want to do. An what Industry want. And what you have to learn. For example n some areas of programming, you dont only need to know programming language but also be good in Discrete maths and Algebra. Or in some programming language you have to be good in understanding in Algorithms and statistics and in some you have to know Full Computer science, in some you have to know just front end, and in some you have to know Database management etc.

I want to make a processing simulation with a swing GUI that modifies certain stuff in the GUI and trains the model in real time I wanted to do it with tensorflow but alas the java tesnroflow api some people are saying you can’t train models with it so I’m not sure what to do. Since processing is java only and tendorflow leans forward python I really don’t want to use JavaScript for this as I like Java’s oopness and that it has threads but it seems like the only alternative

Nice video. I am training myself right now for data analytics and AI. I believe learning python and R is a great combo as R has bettet libraries for statistical and predictive analysis...Java is good but will require larger code to implement but is good in some scenerios..
