I have had EZ Cosmos since March 1991, it is a 1989 astronomy planetarium program. Very basic, but worked great until widows xp phased out. I can't get it to run on windows 7.
That's how I got steered to Stellarium, and all i can say is Wow Wow Wow We! lolol :P

What FieldOfView on Stellarium represents what I would see through a 8*50 finderscope ? Is it 5 degrees ? What FOV represents what would be seen by unaided eye ? What FOV represents the best that M51 can be seen in a 10" dobsonian reflector. I read that the Earl of Rosse made out the structure of M51 with a 72" reflector.

Great work! clear simple explanations, I would like to know are you a scientist or an astrophysicist. I mean are you doing this professionally or as a hobby? If yes what telescope are you using? I am interested in astronomy as a hobby, so looking for a moderate telescope for learning.

Am i The Only One that can only see 4 constellations ? Where are the rest???? It worked fine it showed all for 2 days and then they dissapeared i only see Woman's Cart and The Asar Battlefield
