Hello, I want to put all lines into a String array.However, when the loop for counter runs, it never stops and when i print the counter, the memory reference numbers are shown in an infinite loop.Any suggestion?

Am I doing something wrong? I'm just using notepad++ to create HTML, and .js files, but I notice your files have a .java extension, is there a difference between .js and .java ? Do I have to download anything? Does native .js provide for file IO?

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for your Java Tutorials.
I wrote a program to write text to a file.
If the file read, following exceptions are thrown.

There is no issue to read the same text file when the file crated directly from a text editor.
Could you advise why can not read a file when a file created through printWriter, bufferedWriter, and FileWriter ?

thank you so much i have been stumped on an assignment on this topic and you helped me figure it out . but why do you need to create a second scanner? also you should think about using the ctr++ instead of typing out ctr = ctr + 1
