After doing some very hard ADV. in my 890R on the Alexander Mackenzie trail with a Tusk Exped. gear I see so much more value in the Krieger set up. The modularity is the key and ability to tailor the bags for the activity and keep them out of the way of hanging your but off the back and not snagging on your pack. I've used a Kriega r35 backpack 5 days a week since 2017 in all types of weather and it still looks new. Don't let the prices put you off - Kriega gear will outlast your bike in most cases.
